About Before You Book
The short version. Before You Book is an independent publication about non-surgical aesthetic treatments. It is not a medical spa. The medical spa that once used this domain closed; this site is unrelated to it. We treat nobody, book nothing, sell nothing, and recommend no provider and no city.
What this site is
Before You Book publishes consumer guides to non-surgical aesthetic treatments: botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, laser resurfacing, RF microneedling, and PRP. The guides cover who is legally allowed to perform these treatments, what the clinical evidence actually shows, what the risks are, and what recourse exists when something goes wrong.
The site is informational only. It does not provide medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a licensed clinician. Nobody associated with this publication received or performed any of the treatments covered here, and no page will ever claim otherwise. Every clinical claim is cited to FDA labeling, peer-reviewed literature, or a named professional society; the full methodology is on the How We Source page.
The honest history of this domain
agelessyoumedspa.com has had three unrelated lives, and it is important to be plain about all of them:
- 2018–2020: the domain belonged to Ageless You, a medical spa in Brandenburg, Kentucky. Its site was archived by the Wayback Machine between June 2018 and September 2020.
- 2023–2024: the domain belonged to a different, unrelated business — AgelessYou Medical Spa of Merritt Island, Florida. Its site was archived between January 2023 and March 2024.
- Now: the Florida spa closed. Its Yelp listing is marked closed, and its LLC was administratively dissolved by the State of Florida on September 26, 2025. The domain expired, sat parked, and was acquired by the current publisher in 2026.
This site is a new, independent publication with no connection to either former business. It does not continue them, represent them, or speak for them. There are no appointments to book here, no phone number to call, no address to visit, no hours, no specials, no gift cards, and no staff. Any reviews or testimonials you may find elsewhere about the former spas describe businesses that no longer exist and have nothing to do with this site.
If you were a patient of either former spa and need your records, contact the licensing board of the relevant state (the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure or the Florida Department of Health) about how closed practices must handle patient records. This site has no records, no patient information, and no way to reach the former owners.
Why no before-and-after photos, and no specials
The former spa's site had a specials page and a before-and-after gallery. This site will never have either. We publish no before-and-after imagery because nobody here performed or received these treatments, and presenting outcome photos we did not produce would be misleading. We publish no specials, discounts, or promotions because we sell nothing — and because, as our guides explain, unusually cheap injectables are themselves a documented consumer-safety signal worth understanding rather than chasing.
Who publishes it
Before You Book is independently published. No clinic, device manufacturer, or injectable brand pays for coverage, and the site recommends no provider — not because good providers do not exist, but because an independent guide that named one would stop being independent. What we offer instead is the public record: how to check any provider's license, certification, and discipline history yourself.
