Privacy

What this site collects: almost nothing

Before You Book is a static informational website. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system, no newsletter, no contact forms, and no e-commerce. We do not ask for your name, your email, your health information, or anything else, and we have no patient records of any kind — this site is not a medical practice and has no connection to the medical spas that previously used this domain.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served through a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which processes standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That processing is governed by the host's own privacy policy; we do not use it to identify visitors.

Fonts

Pages load the IBM Plex typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads. Google may log those requests per its own privacy policy.

Cookies and advertising

The site currently sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. If display advertising is added in the future, the ad provider may use cookies or similar technologies, and this policy will be updated first to say exactly what runs and how to opt out. There are no affiliate links on this site.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and address to reply and, if you send a correction, to record it in the relevant article's update log. We do not add you to any list, and we do not sell or share your information. Please do not send health information; we are not clinicians and cannot act on it.

We work to a no-citation-no-claim standard, described on the How We Source page, and we date every article's evidence review. Even so, evidence changes and errors happen; content is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. If you find an error, please tell us.
